"Minorities are the majority and we deserve to be regarded as such"

If society is super diverse, how come that diversity isn't transcended across all platforms? We can go outside and see multiple ethnicities but we fail to see that diversity in leading or background roles. We fail to get that perspective and if it is shown it's usually in a negative light which is the projection of old beliefs and stereotypes.
